It has been a busy few weeks in Sierra Leone! Successful elections,
Nasio and Makia have celebrated their birthdays, and we have an addition
to the Nasio Foundation! Welcome to Satu, (Isatu)! Satu has been living
with FA now for 3 months, as her family were unable to take of her. She
has been a frequent visitor to the household for over a year now, and
is very fond of FA. She is a very bright a bubbly 7 year old, and
started school recently for the first time, with support from the Nasio
Foundation. She is really enjoying the classes and seems to getting on
really well! I will keep you updated on her progress.
Nasio,
Makia and Satu will be spending the Christmas with FA and the rest of
the family at the beach, unfortunately I'll miss this fun in the sun
this year as I'll be flying home to spend Christmas with my family... so
I'll have fun in the cold instead! I'm sure the kids will have enough
fun for all of us too!
